Description2-(Methylamino)pyrazine also known as N-Methylpyrazin-2-amine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aminopyrazines. These are organic compounds containing an amino group attached to a pyrazine ring. Pyrazine is a six-member aromatic heterocycle, that consists of two nitrogen atoms (at positions 1 and 4) and four carbon atoms. 2-(Methylamino)pyrazine is one of several isomers of methylaminopyrazine wherein the methylamino group is located at different positions around the pyrazine ring.  2-(Methylamino)pyrazine is a heterocyclic compound found in cannabis smoke. 2-(Methylamino)pyrazine is formed during the combustion of cannabis ( Ref:DOI ).
